The subjects were 42 mentally disabled persons hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital, and their developmental stages were assessed physiologically using a sensory integration evaluation method and a brief version of the life attitude evaluation scale. Based on Piaget’s and Erikson’s stages of development, the subjects were assessed to clarify their cognitive status. Subsequently, their stages of development were compared with their IQ levels. The results of comparison showed that the stages of development of the mentally disabled persons almost matched their IQ levels among school-age children with mental retardation in developmental stages. The results also showed a correlation between the IQ test for mentally disabled persons and physiological developmental screening using a sensory integration evaluation method and a brief version of the life attitude evaluation scale, suggesting that the brief version of the life attitude evaluation scale was useful as a comprehensive developmental screening method for mentally disabled persons., 本研究の目的はIQ が測定可能な者、不可能な者を対象に、知的障害者の包括的発達段階尺度としての有用性を明らかにすることである。研究方法としては、精神科病院入院中の知的障害を有する患者42 人を対象に、生理学的及び感覚訓練評価、簡易生活態度評定基準からみる知的障害者の発達段階の調査研究を行った。また、ピアジェとエリクソンによる発達段階指標に依拠し、知的障害者の発達段階指標となる調査を行い、実態を明らかにした。さらに、知的障害者の発達段階の実態とIQ とのマッチングを行った。知的障害者の発達段階の実態とIQ とのマッチング結果は、発達段階で学童期にある知的障害者でほぼ合致した。また、知的障害者へのIQ 検査と生理学的及び感覚訓練評価、簡易生活態度評定基準による知的障害者の発達段階の相関が高いことをもって、簡易生活態度評定基準は、知的障害者の包括的発達段階尺度としての有用性が見出された。, Original Article}, pages = {65--77}, title = {知的障害者における包括的発達段階尺度の有用性の検討}, volume = {7}, year = {2012} }
