 note = {The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare provides education lecture for dementia supporter to the general public to promote understating of dementia as a part of community-comprehensive support and servicing. According to the Cabinet Office, the elderly has high interest in social activity participation, but rarely participates, and therefore support by citizen's participation does not follow. We interviewed Community General Support Center in Kaizuka-yamate staff members and conducted questionnaire survey to the elderly and to our students who attended an education lecture for dementia supporter. Community General Support Center staff said that while more people are strongly interested in their health, there are also cases where being homebound leads to behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia that aggravate health problems. In addition a household that takes care of a demented tends to hide it from the neighbors, and some expressed the will to create an environment that encourages people to seek consultation. The goal of continuing the dementia educational campaign is to provide a community where the elderly can feel secure every day at a place they have lived, even if they were diagnosed as having dementia., 厚生労働省により地域包括的な支援・サービス提供の一環として、 一般の住民を対象に認知症の理解を目的とした認知症サポーター養成講座を実施している。 内閣府の調査より高齢者は社会参加活動への関心は高いが、 実際に参加することは少なく、 住民参加による支援へと繋がっていないのが現状であるとしている。 今回、 山手地域包括支援センター職員に対する聞き取り調査や高齢者及び認知症サポーター養成講座を受講した本学学生へのアンケートを実施した。 聞き取り調査から得られた結果として、 健康に対する関心は以前より高くなってきている。 しかし実際は、 引きこもりによる周辺症状が現れ悪化してしまうケースもみられる。 そのため若い世代が気軽に声を掛けてもらえるような交流促進につなげる活動を行っていきたいとしている。 また、 認知症を抱える家族が、 近隣に知られないようにしようとする傾向があるので、 相談しやすい環境をつくりたいとの意向であった。 当センターとしては、 今後も認知症予防啓発活動を行なうことにより、 例え認知症を患ったとしても住み慣れた場所で、 高齢者が安心していつまでも暮らし続けることのできる地域づくりをめざしている。, Report},
