Practical studies of independent activities focused on these traits are also required. Here we report our production of teaching materials focused on cognitive traits such as short-term memory, working memory, simultaneous and consecutive processing, and visual attention. We prepared three assignments focused on short-term memory, three on working memory, nine on simultaneous and consecutive processing, and three on visual attention. Teaching materials specifically geared to hearing impairment have to incorporate sign language and the manual alphabet in an appropriate manner. Therefore, we incorporated the manual alphabet into some of the assignments.The creation of teaching materials and equipment encompassing both short- and long-term memory, and of teaching materials related to spatial ability, imaging, semantic processing and reasoning, which are all aspects of simultaneous processing, particularly traits such as spatial ability that are utilized in geometry problems in mathematics, is a subject for future investigation.
